Hello all! Just when you thought I was out of your hair for a few days, POOF! I'm back again. I went to sleep at 7:30 p.m. last night and woke up at 3 a.m. feeling pretty good. Slugged a S(ugar)F(ree) Red Bull (shudder...I think it's so disgusting, but it worked) and just watched the sun come up from my 17th story perch over looking Lake Michigan. Lake Shore Drive now possesses a steady stream of cars, headlights shining bright, on their way to work. The sky just changed from shades of deep midnight blue, to brilliant orange and rose hues, to the shy aquamarine and robin's egg blue curtain that is now framed in my window. Life is beautiful.
The wonderful and lovely B2G tagged me on a lil meme, so I thought I'd utilize this downtime to get right to it. Go pay her a visit, by the way. She's totally fab.
5 Things…
I Was Doing 10 Years Ago:
1. I was about to graduate 8th grade, and enter the big wide world known as high school.
2. Ran in Cross Country (the thought of this now is just baffling).
3. I saved up enough money to buy a mountain bike, which I still have. I was really proud of this.
4. I watched my father grab one of my boy classmates by the throat and basically throw him against a wall at someone's party after he tormented me. True story.
5. Saw the Pacific Ocean for the first time.
On My To-Do List Today:
1. Put piles of clothes and stuffs into appropriate bags.
2. Do dishes (maybe)
3. Take a shower
4. Get to airport
5. Arrive in Italy
I Like to Snack On:
1. Italian bread with olive oil and parm cheese
2. Blueberry/Raspberry smoothies from Food Life
3. Cheezits
4. String cheese
5. Reese's PB Cups
I’d Do If I Were a Billionaire:
1. Quit my day job and become a professional photographer (my mom already is).
2. Travel the globe incessantly. And I mean incessantly. With friends and fam.
3. Buy property for me and for my parents + brother.
4. Buy a yacht bigger than P. Diddy's and go cruise around Monoco, St. Bart's, Australia, Greece, South Africa, and other glam locales.
4.5. Obtain myriads of diamonds of such wonderful quality, size, and brilliance that would make Elizabeth Taylor gasp with envy.
5. Invest for the future.
I Do That Are Bad Habits:
1. Check my BlackBerry. Constantly.
2. Procrastinate.
3. Read blogs at work.
4. I check my personal voicemail on average of twice a month. I'm not even kidding.
5. Not able to readily relinquish control of a lot of things.
Five Places I have Lived:
1. My parents’ house
2. School dorm in Chicago (2)
3. Apartments in Chicago (3)
4. Amsterdam
5. My grandparent's lakehouse in Michigan (think summers in my youth)
Jobs I’ve Had:
1. Sales Associate at Victoria's Secret (I know, bad idea).
2. Receptionist/Paperwork Guru/Switchboard Op. for a REMAX Real Estate office
3. Personal Assistant for a Personal Injury Attorney
4. Shake/Sundae Maker at Culver's Restaurant
5. Editor of an internet company
OK now I'm off for good. Thanks, B2G, for the late-night (or should I say early morning?) entertainment.

i both hate and love when I have sleep patterns like that
you're not going to "arrive in Italy" until tomorrow, so quit bragging already.
ps - I'm reading blogs at work... oh no!
I am now craving every single thing on your snack list.
So... thanks for that.
Oh pswhaa, you're making me blush.
I think now, more than ever, that we're the same person.
Why is cheese on everyone's list of snacks?!
I worked at Victoria's Secret all throughout college! I actually liked it a lot (for a part-time job) except when loser guys would come in and ask "Hey, will you try this on so I can see how it will look on my girlfriend." Har har.
I am glad that you had fun in Rome. I really need to go. I should probably see Italy once since I spent my entire college career failing miserably at their language. I am really excited about my pup pup. He already loves me. I totally didn't think you were a squee person. Haha. Times must have gotten rough for the Gnat. She went from J Simpson locks to Posh Spice in no time flat. It looks really fugly. I giggle every time I see her. Ah, I am such a beotch.
