For the past two weeks or so I've been getting calls from "Unavailable" on my cellular telephone. The first few times I shrugged it off, but now it's getting to a point where it's getting a tad creepy. Of course this would all be solved if I just answered the calls as they come. Instead I ignore the calls, feel a bit weirded out, and pretend like I don't notice that this phenomenon keeps occurring.
The disturbing part is I think I have an inkling as to who this person is. I hope I'm wrong, but knowing this individual...I wouldn't be surprised. It's a girl, too. Yes, ok let's get it over with, there are times when I'm stalked by a female. Not in a "Ohhh I'm in not-so-secret love with you" way but a "I'm crazy obsessive scary" kind of way.
I've been known to ignore her calls and not return them; she's been known to call me from strange numbers in a desperate attempt to hear my voice and reconnect with me. It would be just like her to block the call or somehow keep her number from showing up on my screen, just so she could call me out on ignoring her once I answered.
So I opt not to answer. Should I just man up and do it anyway just to make sure? The last time someone called me like this was last night around 9:30 p.m. I am also registered on the "Do Not Call" list so I doubt it's a sales call...u-g-h. I just have a feeling that the mystery caller is scary stalkerette, who doesn't seem to get it when I don't answer her repeated texts, emails, stalkbook messages/wall comments, phone calls, smoke signals, etc.
I haven't been stalked by a girl since the late spring of 2006, and the freedom from female stalkage has been rather nice.
So what should I do: answer the next time this happens, even though I run the risk of being sucked into a guilt trip/freaky conversation with said female stalker, or let it ride?

NO!!!! Dont answer! the doors are locked closed for a reason. Dont you ever forget why, dont you ever. I think you want to be amused, but you will only feel pitty. Weird. Maliciously (sp?) waiting for more...
LOL no no no no no no no no I'm not talking about HER. Oh for the LOVE of everything in this world, I would never EVER EVER answer the phone for that girl. That's who I was referring to when I said "I haven't been stalked by a girl since late spring in 2006" meaning that's pretty much the last time I allowed her communicate with/see me.
No, no my dearest MET, this is a new one. Rather, not so new, but a little over a year old of on and off stalkage. I met this girl when I was dating Kevin (remember that wack-job?) and she was one of his good friends. Well, she won't quite let go. Ever. In fact after I wrote this post I checked my email and had two from her, one asking me to critique a bunch of modeling headshots (wait, what, you're a model? umm, ok) and tell her which ones I like best. As if we are friends. Ken unfortunately has a nasty habit of randomly running into her everywhere, which only makes her seek me out more.
This was a long comment back, but you just have to know the truth and that I would never ever talk to that horrible....thing ever again.
P.S. Get this- Allison went to the Blackhawks game last weekend and sat two rows in front of Mike Timlin...she held her tongue but really wanted to ask about psycho!
